Privacy Policy

Learner information stays on the device

Bimblu stores learner nicknames, selected avatars or optional photos, learning progress, preferences, and family voice recordings locally. We do not upload this learner content to a Bimblu server or send it to RevenueCat. No Bimblu sign-in account is required. Device backups may include app data according to your device and cloud-backup settings.

Optional permissions and sharing

Photo selection and microphone recording are optional. Microphone permission is used to record family narration. You can manage permissions in device settings. If you save or share an achievement card, its contents—including a learner name or photo—are sent to the location or app you select, under that service’s policies.

Purchases and subscription services

Apple processes App Store payments. Bimblu uses RevenueCat to validate purchases, restore access, manage subscription entitlements, and understand subscription performance. RevenueCat receives purchase and subscription records associated with an automatically generated anonymous app identifier. Store, app, and device-related information necessary to deliver these services may also be processed. Network services receive connection information, such as IP addresses, when contacted.

Bimblu does not provide learner names, photos, or recordings to RevenueCat. We do not receive your full payment card information. See RevenueCat’s Privacy Policy and Apple’s Privacy Policy for their practices.

Children and advertising

Bimblu is designed for children to use with parent or caregiver involvement. Parents manage profiles and optional purchases. The app does not include advertising SDKs or use learner content for advertising. Please use a nickname rather than a child’s full name and do not send a child’s personal information in support messages.

Support and this website

If you email us, we receive your email address and the information you choose to send, which we use to respond and resolve your request. This website does not include advertising or analytics scripts. Its hosting provider may process normal connection and security logs to serve and protect the site.

Retention, deletion, and your choices

Local learner data remains until removed through available app controls or by deleting the app’s stored data. Separately saved cards and device backups must be managed where they are stored. Uninstalling Bimblu does not cancel an Apple subscription or erase store transaction records.

Purchase records are retained by service providers as needed for billing, restoring access, fraud prevention, and legal obligations. Support correspondence is kept as needed to resolve requests and meet applicable obligations. Contact us to ask about access, correction, or deletion of information we hold. We may need information sufficient to locate and verify a request, and some records must be retained by law or by the store. Rights vary by location.

Security and international processing

We aim to minimize the information collected. No storage or transmission method is completely secure. Apple, RevenueCat, email, and hosting providers may process information outside your country under their policies and applicable safeguards.
